About Troncones

Troncones is a small fishing village, never crowded approximately 30 km North of the towns of Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa off of Highway 200.  The population is about 600 people, consisting of native families, Americans, Europeans, Canadians and other cultures… We have a clinic, a catholic church, a graveyard, a school, a soccer field and various little tiendas selling the basic necessities.  There are often local fiestas, kermes and weddings in which everyone on the beach is invited. Needless to say… it’s a friendly town.

You will find in Troncones fabulous restaurants:  traditional Mexican food, pastas, pizzas, fresh seafood directly from the ocean, hamburgers and other culinary delights you will love.
